Peter's birthday party -
17th August
at Peter Fisher's 64th
birthday bash. Plenty of renditions of "when I'm 64" rang out
getting louder and worse as the evening wore on - the wine being
the main reason for that and as the photo shows!! |

at the Hawthorns - 4th
August
the Albion's first game in

the England v Croatia
game - 11
July
Another football party,
this time at Judith & George's for the World Cup semi-final, a
must win game. Sadly we didn't and we were so upset we forgot to
take a photo!! So near yet so far ... but no recriminations, so
proud. |

the England v Sweden
game - 7
July
I was at mum's for the
quarter final suggesting she turned off Midsommer Murders for
the football. I'd brought her a flag to wave so that helped!!
She stayed in bed for the duration of the game but despite an
occasional "what colour are we, again?" she fully delighted in
our win! Bring on the semi-finals ... another football party
looms. |

Football Party - 28 June
A lovely 'football party'
was had at Deb & Paul’s as we gathered to watch the England v
Belgium game. Food & drink were supplied aplenty and I
personally was happy with the result @ 2nd in the table but was
it the right result? Well, that is up for debate & only time
will tell. |

Sydney Whitfied's funeral - 21 June
If there's such a thing as
a 'good send off' then this was it. A packed church bade fareell
to Sydney whom I've know from my earliest days at Short Cross.
There were many faces from the past and it was good to catch up
with so many who had come to pay their respects to a very well
loved gentleman. The photo shows mws me with 3 former BB members
there - Paul, Sam & Mike. |
